Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. The service

AllyTracker provides employee time-tracking software: a desktop app that captures screenshots during employee-started sessions, a web dashboard for employees and admins, and related services (together, "the Service").

By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

Your organisation's admin controls your membership, your role, and your capture interval. If your organisation removes you, your access ends.

3. How tracking works

Tracking only runs while you have an active session, which you start, pause, and end. Screenshots are captured at the interval your admin set (default 10 minutes) and land in your private review tray on your device.

Nothing is uploaded until you approve it. Removed screenshots are deleted from your device and never uploaded. Your admin can only see screenshots you approved.

You can set privacy exclusions in the desktop app so that matching apps are never captured.

4. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is billed per employee seat. Admins (up to two per organisation) are free. You can start with a free trial; when it ends you must subscribe to continue using paid features.

Subscriptions are managed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; the subscription remains active until the end of the current period.

Prices may change with notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the Service to capture or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing; attempt to bypass or interfere with the Service's security or access controls; reverse-engineer the desktop app; or use the Service to violate any law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that abuse the Service.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you put into the Service. We process it to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your screenshots for advertising.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by AllyTracker and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AllyTracker's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms, with notice where practicable.

On termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the State of Texas.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
